This is the work of Wisconsin artist John Peroutka. His work is often highly detailed and photorealistic. Light and shadow are used within his work in a controlled way that brings it to life. From his work, it is clear he understands the underlying structure and function of his subjects. He is an accomplished artist with experience working on a variety of ground media using many different application methods. He recieved a bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 1994 with a major in Fine Art.
Mother Teresa - Graphite Pencil on Watercolor Paper

Drawn in 1998 from a published photo by Raghu Rai. She is holding a child at Nirmala Shishu Bhawan, Calcutta. Peroutka is currently seeking the rights to the image and working to acquire funding for a 5ft. x 7ft. version of the drawing. Prints will be made available of the drawing with the majority of the profits going to benefit the Missionaries of Charity founded by Mother Teresa. Door Panel Artwork on TO-KALON

This artwork was commissioned by Dave and Cheryl Copham. The sealife door panels were designed and painted by artist John Peroutka onto two cabinetry door panels for their custom 101' yacht TO-KALON. The boat was built at Burger Boat Company of Manitowoc, WI. The sculpture is by Terry Jones.

This drawing was completed in 1994 as an environmental study for Peroutka's senior show at the Univerity of Wisconsin - Green Bay. The work was displayed in the Lawton Gallery at the University.

2008 National Winner for the 9yr. olds at the Little Mo Tennis Nationals in Austin, TX. The competition is a look at the future stars of the junior tennis circuit. This drawing was commissioned by Noah's parents.
